30 unit housing project in little tokyo. The site is in built in conjunction with a new metro stop. The ramp starts from inside the metro and wraps up through the inside and up through the apartments.
Through studying the site, I saw many western front facades and decided to make one of my own. The exterior is cold and uninviting, while the interior is warm with a bustling market connected to the metro. The first floor is amenities like a gym and grocery store. Floors 2-3 are housing + shop combo for small business owners to sell directly from their home.
